I’ve been watching a lot of Adventure Time lately and, the more I see her, the more I think my sister Moe is a lot like Marceline the Vampire Queen.
Here are a couple clips from the show to support my feelings:
Finn Woos Marceline — Marceline’s initial response to Finn’s overtures is classic Moe. “No one would want to go to the movies with … THIIIIIIS!”
Marceline’s Secret Album — The lyrics of the song Marceline is singing are Moe-like. “Let’s start with my feelings about my friends/Oh wait I don’t have friends”
Just like Moe, Marceline is taciturn with most people and thinks no one wants to spend time with her when in reality she’s very well liked — her self-esteem issues keep her from accepting that she’s a pretty awesome chick with loyal, loving friends.
Just thought of all that while watching a silly cartoon and had to type it out. Ok I’m done now. :D
